Exploring Culturally Sensitive Learning Opportunities That Promote Belonging in Early ChildhoodDIV/Set Two - 3 Hours
$33 - E-Certificate Included Participants will explore how to create culturally sensitive learning spaces to promote belonging for all children. This includes helping children to learn about their own cultural identities and value people who are different from them. Using selected materials, we will examine how to embed culturally sensitivity learning opportunities through the arts, inquiry, daily living and inclusive practices.

Positive Strategies to Support Young Children with Special Needs in Inclusive SettingsSN/Set Two - 3 Hours
$33 - E-Certificate Included Participants in this training will examine positive strategies to support young children with special needs in inclusive early childhood settings. Characteristics and strategies for supporting children with orthopedic impairments, cognitive delays, learning disabilities, communication disorders, sensory impairments (visual, hearing, and sensory integration), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, emotional disorders and autism spectrum disorders will be included.

Exploring the Benefits of Observation in Early ChildhoodOA/Set Two - 3 Hours
$33 - E-Certificate Included Participants will explore the benefits of observing young children to build positive relationships with children and understand their individual needs. During the training, participants will learn to use observation guidelines to become a skilled observer and how to then use what is learned through observation to respond to individual and group needs effectively.

Positive Strategies to Address the Causes of Challenging Behavior in Young ChildrenUGB/Set Two - 3 Hours
$33 - E-Certificate Included Participants will examine the common causes of challenging behavior in early childhood and explore positive guidance strategies to address challenging behavior. Participants will examine behavior in the context of personal factors that cause behavioral challenges including: developmental stages, temperament, and other issues such as trauma or disability. Trainees will have an opportunity to practice linking probable causes of behavior with appropriate guidance strategies.

$33 - E-Certificate Included Participants will explore approaches, strategies and tools to promote healthy development and learning in natural environments and outdoor play spaces. According to current research and theory, children benefit greatly from time outdoors in active play based learning, which includes mental, physical, social and emotional development and wellbeing. Present challenges for educators and children will be discussed along with beneficial global initiatives and developmentally appropriate opportunities to help address the needs more effectively.

$33 - E-Certificate Included Participants will examine the environmental, biological and social factors and conditions that affect prenatal development. We will explore beneficial conditions as well as adverse experiences related to child development outcomes for babies and their parents.
